- NIC problem
- Posted by MIke on November 25th, 2003
Hi
I have two NIC cards on my W95 machine. One for Broadband and one for LAN.
Trouble is machine will only work with one at a time! Is this normal and
does anyaone know any fixes?

Perfectly normal for Win9X OSes. You CAN add a route statement to
fix it ... such as:
ROUTE ADD 192.168.100.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.10 METRIC 1
To route the internal lan (presuming it's 192.168.100.x with a
netmask of 255.255.255.0, and that your NIC on that side is 192.168.100.10
.... )
But it'll have to be executed every time you boot.
