Hi,
How come I can not uninstall my Norton Anti Virus 2004?
Can I just install the 2005 version of NAV and over-ride the old one?
My OS is Win XP SP2 P4
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

The last good software from Peter Norton was Utils for DOS 6.
The best AV software seems to be ezAntiVirus from Computer Assoc.
Good luck getting the Horton crap erased.

Try uninstalling from the original Norton AV disk. I think there's an option
to uninstall when you run the disk. That usually works better than trying to
uninstall from Add/Remove Programs.
