Can anyone help me get Norton Live Update to shut down? I can't uninstall
Norton anti virus 2004 because it says live update is running. I can't get
live update or even the Norton anti virus panel to show up on screen. I did
try to update the live update program through the Symantec site to no avail.
Running Win XPH.

also noticed that Window's Security Updates keep loading over and over
again. Did a system restore back to Nov. 11 and everything is top notch now.

hi--try booting into windows in safe mode, then go to control
panel/add-remove programs. that'll probably work.
