- NTL Dial up
- Posted by John on November 22nd, 2004
Just installed NTL Dial Up for a friend. Everything works fine, but when he
now boots up, he gets the setup wizard starting. This happens everytime,
even though we have set up. Also how do you get rid of that annoying NTL
logo on start up? I have removed stuff out of "msconfig", but still loads
the startup wizzard everytime. Thanks for any help.

Uninstall it again and make your own DUN connectoid.
You don't need ISP software.

All you need from NTL is the password!

Is that an NTL disease?

Seems to be.

I think NTL draws a lot of goomers ... a bit like moths to a flame ...
Though I also use NTL, as it's effectively free for me, and a very reliable
service in my part of UK.
