- NUmber pad quit working
- Posted by George on February 25th, 2007
I have a Compaq Sr1120NX running Windows Xp. The system has no major
modifications. Recently the number pad quit working. I changed the keyboard
and it didn't solve the problem. Any suggestions?

George "contributed" in 24hoursupport.helpdesk:
And what meaning do you expect your delusional self-important statements
of unknowing, inexperienced opinion to have with us? What fantasy do you
hold that you would believe that your tiny-fisted tantrums would have
more weight than that of a leprous desert rat, spinning rabidly in a
circle, waiting for the bite of the snake?

A simple "I don't know" would be acceptable.

Gee, Geo, keep your shorts on. You only posted your question an hour ago.
This isn't a CHAT room, or a PAID tech support team. It's a group of
volunteers and other questionable contributors that may or may not choose to
jump right on your pissy litle problem.

I don't usually bother with things like this; This reply was just rude
enough to get a reply.
I have gotten a lot of help from this newsgroup and thanked the people who
have helped me over the years. There isn't any other way I can show my
appreciation..
This wasn't aimed at anyone who didn't have anything helpful to add or who
didn't have an answer

The problem was "MouseKeys"; I had it selected and never connected it with
the problem. It is under accessibilty options in the control panel. I have
no Idea how it got selected. Thanks for the reply I do appreciate it..
