- Only shows <HTML when I forward an email ??

Suddenly today when I forwarded an ad from computergeeks to someone, they
replied and said what's this - and all there was below was <HTML and
nothing else.
This happened when I replied to someone else. None of the text I typed went
through. All they got was <HTML. Using Outlook 2002. I know this must
have something to do with the mail format options but I can't figure it out.
I couldn't get Google to give me a good response as I don't think I asked
the right question.
