Opening attachment
Posted by Don Jennings on November 7th, 2003

I am a member of a group which meets periodically. Minutes from our last
meeting have been emailed as an attachment with extension: cwk. My machine
(W98) will not open the attachment. Is there some manipulation that will
permit me to open it?

Yes, Patrick, I'm familiar with the problem discussed on that page and with
the manner of correcting it. It involves *all* incoming attachments, which
is not my problem. The problem I'm struggling with is just the one
particular as extension: cwk. Thanks for your attention. DonJ

the format but I'm still stuck and the sender says she can't change it to a
simple text format. It's apparently a Apple computer and she's a novice.

Can't she copy/paste the content into a simple *.txt document?

Suggestions for next meeting - minutes to be taken down by someone with
basic word-processor skills, not a Doofette with a new machine ;-)

And there is only one thing worse than biting into an apple and finding a

That`s biting into an apple and finding half a maggot.

Especially if you've spent all afternoon looking for your missing per
maggot.
Check helpdesk ;-)
