What is the deal with Outlook Express 6.0 when it comes to emailing links.
Why is it that the message composition window shows this annoying "emailing"
in the subject line and
"Your files are attached and ready to send with this message."

I'd rather my recipients not see this junk.

How can I get rid of it?

Simply highlight the text in the subject line and the message body and then
hit your DELETE key.
