- over quota

Keep getting this message. Cleaned account of most old e-mails and all big
ones. Had an old mailbox that was getting junk mail but have set up rules
to delete all e-mails to that account... at the server. Should that take
care of it. Could there be an accumulation of e-mails I don't know about?

I'd of thought sent mails rather than a trash folder. Trash folders usually
clear themselves especially when the account is near/over quota.

It depends on the server and how the limits for users are
set up on the server. Typically, the amount of allocated
space is the total for all folders. Not emptying the trash
would have its consequences and users need to empty their
own trash...more to protect the ISP from liabilities.
