Phoenix award bios v6. PG (date 07/18/2003) capable of 48-bit LBA?
Posted by Kenny on May 27th, 2004

I have a matsonic motherboard MS9127C
with bios: phoenix award bios v 6.00 PG (DATE 07/18/2003)

Is this capable of 48-bit LBA so that I can add a bigger drive than 137 GB?

1)The manual says nothing about this
2)The matsonic site says nothing about this
3)Matsonic support does not reply to my emails
4)The people who sold it to me have no idea
5) I tried looking at http://www.phoenix.com/en/products/default.htm to see
what the bios is capable of but I cannot find the information needed!

HELP!!!

My guess would be yes considering the bios is less than a year old. On
the other hand, considering that you have no tech support for such as
you bought on price, not quality, you never know.
