Both his and your time are showing correctly for me Mike. His original
post was about 9 hours in the future, his second was correct.

assuming you are using win2k or XP
you can boot with your cd and do a repair install
afterwards you will need to reapply your windows updates
- Posted by Toolman Tim on May 31st, 2004
Well, since the OP is in Europe, that really isn't pertinent, now is it? And
if his clock was set correctly, it will display correctly anywhere in the
world.

You haven't got a clue, have you? Why do you think
that your computer has TIME ZONE settings?
It doesn't matter where in the world you live, or
are posting from, if your TIME ZONE settings are
set correctly, other people will see your post at
THEIR correct time/date. This is done transparently
at the news servers.
For instance, here are extracts from Einar's headers:
From: Einar Langøen <theking@broadpark.no>

Subject: Re: Please help Error "NTFS.sys"

Now, as you can see from the headers, they are
set to Tue, 01 June at 19:01 (that's 7.01pm TOMORROW).
even though his news server sent it at 19:08 TODAY.

michael (sic) has been in my shit bin for some time now.
He likes to make a lot of hot air, but nothing of
substance. IIRC, he's apt to feed the trolls, too.
