- Problem with an add-on
- Posted by Andy Petro on September 21st, 2007
When I try to open certain programs I get the message. " Program has
encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close. The following
add-ons was running when this program occurred. MSHTML. DLL
Microsoft HTML viewer "
It occurs on certain Internet Explorer programs as well as System
Restore.
When I check the Manage Add-ons site it shows this one disabled. Yet it
still says that it was running. Any help ?

Quick answer *without* you giving the generally required answers for the
questions in the other reply: go into add/remove programs, find internet
explorer (possible with internet tools) <version number> select
uninstall, choose repair internet explorer, *if* it just asks if you
want to uninstall internet explorer -no going to happen unless you use a
version *earlier* than 5.0 which means you're running windows 98 first
edition and *never* upgraded, *Don't*.

Why not point them to the Microsoft website where the proper fix is
located - that way they don't have to download it from a porno-hosting
website.

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS1.COM that
create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a look
at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive.../t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.
