Program to Record Internet Streaming?
Posted by Sens Fan Happy In OH on April 13th, 2006

I've searched all over the web but can't seem to find a program that
will do what I would like it to do. Daily I listen to the following:
http://www.team1200.com/listen-live/...-TEAM-WMP.html

When you click this link it opens up a browser window and the streaming
audio comes into that player. What I am looking for is a way to record
off that player using another program. My purpose is to get soundbytes
for using in making Desktop Themes. I've tried to contact both the
radio station and the company that handles their stream and had zero
luck with any response - they just ignore my requests hoping I'll go
away, I guess.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've seen plenty of
programs that, as long as you have a streaming URL, they'll work. But
when I use that link they won't take. So I need a way to "capture" the
stream from that player into something else.

Thanks in advance!

Here is one of them http://www.highcriteria.com/productfr_tr.htm
You have to select the recording source of course.

I do use Firefox, unless IE is called for. I've downloaded this
extension and will certainly give it a shot! So you tested it with the
Team 1200 link?

anthonyberet - Doesn't work. Only saves 288kb of a WMV file that
cannot be opened by Windows Media Player 10.

Fred - Have you tried this program with the link sent? I'm downloading
it now to test out.
