Ask your ISP for your email settings - there is no way to tell
what you are using, or your NSP, since you are posting via
Google.
POP3 is the protocol for incoming mail.
SMTP is the protocol for outgoing mail.
I would imagine that your account (server) setting should
be something like:
pop3.yourisp.com -- (incoming mail)
smtp.yourisp.com -- (outgoing mail)
Obviously substituting 'yourisp.com' with the name of your ISP.
