correct driver and device. Once you've done that, you should have no problem
with other packages, assuming it's what I think it is that is causing the

Try accessing the _camera_ via the XP scanning/imaging software. If the
camera takes still pictures, the XP scanning package will let you pull
stills from it. You're in for a bit of messing around.
You may have to unplug the camera when you want to scan, as a last resort.
