- Re Security update for Microsoft.net
- Posted by Geoff on September 12th, 2007
Hi Bob B,
I am trying your suggestion but cannot download the
"NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe" from Microsoft. In fact the computer just
hangs. I tried another PC and that is the same problem. Other files
from Microsoft download OK.
Any ideas?
TIA Geoff.

I have downloaded Installer clean up & removed the NET items
I have downloaded dotnetfx.exe but when I try to install it I get "An error
occured while Windows Installer was initiating, setup will now close".
What do I do now?
Geoff.

Thanks but it is a bit more involved than that.
This started because of an update problem (see my message further down) for
Vers 1.1
If I install V3 can I ignore the fact that V1.1 & V2 are not installed?
