I see that it's a moderated group. So yes; *they* decide who posts
and who doesn't. Not much you can do, except to try to avoid whatever
behaviour that they don't seem to like.
I guess you probably pissed off the wrong guy; who is good at
tracing, or maybe just recognizes your style/content.

Any ideas on how to get around the moderator, because I would like some
expert opinions on a few technical questions and I don't feel like voicing
my opinions anymore I said what I have to say. Its funny though he will
disregard the first amendment on a mostly second amendment sight. Thought
that was interesting to put out there.

Contrary to popular believe, yes, you do have freedom of speech on the
internet but that still doesn't mean that other people have to grant you
free access to their servers/groups/mailboxes.

at the following statement by DL Man in message
news:kWG1b.235207$uu5.45527@sccrnsc04

snip
No.

Then post with your questions and don't offer your opinions. If the post is
acceptable, it should be passed by the moderator. Keep in mind that a post to
a moderated group may take several hours to a few days to show up in the
group, depending on how many moderators there are/how busy the group is/how
busy the moderator(s) is (are).

It's a moderated group. The first amendment doesn't apply.

There is no way to get around the moderator. He recieves every
message posted, then approves or refuses it's public posting.

Best thing to do would be to find another group that has a similar
topic to this one, and start fresh.

This fella was on the morning radio show yesterday. Checked into the
hotel full of telemarketers and started calling them in their rooms,
at 3AM in the morning. And recorded their reactions. :-)

Sorry for replying again, but I just ran across this:

http://www.spamhaus.org/legal/answer-03-80295.html

Seems some spammer is suing SBL, claiming they're rights are being
violated, and they're seeking damages, and the removal of their IP
address from the SBL list.

We all know where that'll head. Once a precedent is set, others
follow suit. (No pun intended)

While I agree there, I'll admit I'm losing faith in the legal
system.

Some crazy mother, last year, tried to broil her infant daughter.

Got only 25 years.

Now, isn't that messed up?

You can always try just posting questions. But I think you'll find
it a tough nut to crack. I looked for a FAQ for the group, and see that
they use a pointer to a site for a FTP download. I get the impression
that they are a rather "clubby" bunch.
