- Replacing Hard Drive on Notebook
- Posted by Bryan on February 16th, 2007
My HD is full and I want to upgrade the HD.
Is there a way to copy my HD as is, OS, programs, registry, files, onto a
new HD before I remove it and install the new HD?
I don't want to have to find all my old disks and reload the OS, Programs
and files.

A simple and cheap way of doing this would probably be using a "bootable"
back program using as Norton Ghost (very good in my eyes) should be able to
fit it onto a few DVD's or you could like about buy an external HD.
