Roxio Creator DE 10.1 Software Problem for CD Burning
Posted by Brad on May 9th, 2008

Hi,

I have "burned" some data CD's on my Dell Windows XP home edition laptop
(bought a couple months ago) using Roxio Creator DE 10.1 software, but I could
not find out how to "see" how much free space is left on the blank CD after I
select each folder to add for the burn. Note: This is a one session project
and I wanted to fill up the CD and have it "finalized".

I have used Nero on my other computer's CD burner, which shows a scale
as you add files/folders so you can see how much "space" you have left.

I searched Roxio's "Help", and I went to their web site, but I didn't find
anything regarding this issue!!!!!

Does anyone know a technique besides manually adding up the size of the
folder's contents?

Thanks in advance, Brad

be sure there is no active keystroke logger (spyware) in your PC.

I have not seen the DE (Dell Edition?) but every other version of Roxio from
the beginning of time shows you the space left as you are adding files to be
burned to the CD/DVD.
If you have the option to use Creator Classic try that.
