I am about to wipe my PC and reinstall windows as i have a new motherboard.

Is there an easy way to save some e-mails i have received (apart from
printing of course)

Thanks

There are some free utilities around that allow you to backup or export your
identities and their DBX files which includes all the messages. Do a Google
search on OE backup-- assuming that's your mail program.

Donald

Outlook express?
Tools, Options, Maintenance tab, Store Folder button will tell you the
folder the emails are in.
Just back this folder up before wiping.

To get them back into the new copy of OE:
Copy the previously backed up folder to your hard disk.
Open OE, File, Import, Messages, OE (version, use 6 if your old OE was
5)..... and point to the folder you copied to your hard drive.

Best
Paul.
