Server Share problem
Posted by nlealofi@gmail.com on February 7th, 2006

Hi,

I'm running a Windows 2k advanced server on a lan of 15 users. The Win
2k server is a domain controller, and all 15 computers are running win
xp pro.

THe problem I'm having is accessing the shared resources on the server.
When I click start > run > I type in '\\servername" or '\\192.x.x.x',
then it prompts me for a username and password. I enter the
administrator username and password, then it gives me the message no
network provider provided.

Regards,

nlealofi

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! If network admin is your day job, tell your boss to
fire you and hire some cunt who knows just enough not to post questions like
that into the most pilloried and useless newsgroup on the whole of usenet.

Cooking tonight: Abominable blow flies with cooked sufficiently bowel
aside foul-smelling humpbacked whale intestine with garlic sauce, served
in a steaming bucket with a slew of canned cooked offal, walnut and
anchovy in adulterated beef gravy, a side of corgi intestines and a
bucket of Vietnamese snake wine.
