Bit if a confusing one this.
I have my own PC, side by side with my fathers work PC. We share the same
telephone port for the internet, ie I plug mine in when required and he
likewise. This phone line rent and calls are paid for by his company. In
order to keep from having any charges to his bill for my internet, I am on
BT 150hr thing paid using my credit card monthly. He is on PAYG Freeserve
(im not sure if it is routed through his work server, I dont think so).
My question is; broadband is on its way (within 2wks) to my area. Therefore
do we need to keep the same seperate internet access, I pay for my broadband
and his company for his, or can we both use the same provider without any
charges to his bill? Obviously I xcan do without his work knowing my every
web site visited.

wont know what web site's he's been on. Although there is interesting
unwritten ground with reguards to the data protection act and whether the
bill payer is the user :P

Yes you can share the broadband connection without having to networkwork the
computers......I use a Belkin wireless router.....cable from cable modem to
wireless router.....one PC can be hardwire connected to wireless router.....
additional computers use wireless receivers...If you are not networked no
one knows your surfing habits !
