If I want to put something in the subject of my outlook express without
cutting and pasting how would I do that?

I'm lost.

The subject is "Shortcut Keys". The QUESTION is best answered by
"Type it in."

Exactly what are you asking here?

Eh?

If you want to cut you can use ctrl-x (or ctrl-c for copy) and to paste you
use ctrl-v.

But you say you don't want to cut and paste, so just tab (or use your mouse
to click) to the subject and start typing.

I don't understand your question.

Is there anyway to permanently put something in the subject of outlook
express, like a signature so everytime you create mail there will be
something in the subject, so you don't have to type it in everytime?

Right, I get you.

That would be the "body", the subject is, er, the subject.

Have a look in your news readers help file for "signatures".

Yes there is but you better not use this to send spam. Right click on the
desktop and select New>shortcut, in the location box type
mailto:?subject=test where the word test is replaced with the subject of the
message. Click next and name the shortcut. use that shortcut everytime you
want that subject line. If you want to send it to a certain email address
then you just add the address first like this
mailto:xxx@sys.com?subject=test
