Dear Smarts!
Is there anybody out there who may be able to tell me where and how I can
change my Signature or E-mail address when messageing a News Group, in older
to avoid even more Spam?
I have tried Tools/Options/Signatures/New and then got stuck.

Your email address and newsgroup name are not your signature.
A signature goes at the end of a post, like my maintenance page link.
To change your name and/or email address, go to Tools / Accounts /
News / (highlight account) / Properties / General tab, and change
the settings there. This will not affect your email details.
