- silent moments in MP3-playing
- Posted by Joan on August 7th, 2004
Hi,
I burned an MP3 disc. Playing on a Sony DVP-NS330 from time to time silent
moments occur. Can anybody give me a solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Willem.

I'm not sure what you mean but if it's like you recorded a whole album
and the breaks between the tracks are to long you should use a prog
called:mp3 splitter. It can break up an album to one by one and you
decide the length of them breaks.

Use the freeware mp3Trim to automatically remove digital silence at the
beginning and end of mp3 tracks which are 7 minutes in length or less:
http://www.logiccell.com/~mp3trim/index.htm mp3Trim requires no install-
just drop it into a folder somewhere and launch the exe.

Ian.

Thank you Allen,
I found out what happened: two tracks went immediately into each other.
iTunes made 8 sec silence between the tracks.
Bye,
Willem.
