I have recently purchased a 400Gb Simple Tech External Hard Drive and
was wondering how to set it up so that when using iMovie on a Mac how
do I transfer diredtly from the camera to the external hard drive
bypassing my computer hard drive? Also, do I simply drag movies that I
have copied with idvd onto the external hard drive? I did this with 3
or 4 movies and then disconnected the drive improperly and am now
getting error file messages so I cannot open them. Is this possible?
