- Speed Test
- Posted by Old Gringo on August 8th, 2005
I ran a speed test from London to Marfa, below are the results.
Loaded 754,928 bytes in 1.92 seconds from Open Hosting server.
Is there somewhere I can enter these figures to give me a better
understanding of the end results?

Usually on the page you ran the test from, there should be some notes on
the test.
You could divide the bytes / time to get the bytes/sec. , although as
the time in almost 2 seconds roughly - 380000bytes/sec
Taking some liberties rounding the numbers to make is easy to see the
answer.
If you convert the bytes to bits (750,000 x 8)bits/2sec looks to be
about 3Mbps (Mega bits / sec)
