this has been happening randomly for prob 2 months now -every 3-5
days. i get a message on my screen to the effect that the cd has been
removed, and another msg for the cd-rw.., this is the only message
that i can find and its in admin tools- event viewer - here it is:

Received a device interface REMOVAL notification for device:

\\?\IDE#CdRomHL-DT-ST_CD-ROM_GCR-8483B_______________1.05____#5&3a22a7d4&0&0.0.0#{5 3f56308-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b}
- got same exact message for the cd-rw as well

its not a p.i.t.a.yet but if you can help plz do
