svchost creating errors.
Posted by Jeff Plas on January 5th, 2005

First of all, what is this program? Second of all, why does task manager
show me four instances of it running? Third of all, I'm getting an error
message saying it has caused an error and it will be shut down. My computer
has been unstable lately, could this be related? Any idea what would cause
it? Thanks for info.

SVCHOST is a Windows Service used to run a third party program as a service.

So the problem come from a software you installed few times ago before the
message of crash appeared.
