system 32 folder

Running xp pro and everything works okay but my system 32 folder has just
disappeared. It is not in hidden files and when I go to search files and
folders it does not show one. Any ideas?

Idea: if it really *did* disappear, you would not have made the
"everything works ok" statement, and you would have posted from another
computer. It is still there; you have changed some option to hide it.

Dig around those radio buttons and checkboxes.

Thank you for your advice. By going to folder options, checking show hidden
folders, unchecking hide file extensions and unchecking hide system
operating folders I was able to find it. Now if I only knew how to restore
it, which copying does not work. I may be able to figure it out and with all
the above action taken, the faint system 32 folder does appear in the
windows folder. Thanks again.
