How can I make the text/font size in IE permanently larger? I know about
the view/text size thing, but it only works for a little while.

IE has a long-standing known bug that if the author uses pixel settings
in a style sheet - say: font-size: 12px - then that is what you will
see. Competent web authors use the percentage measurement - font-size:

Also, if you would use a modern browser such as Firefox or Opera instead
of the ancient IE, you will be easily able to override the author's
poor, uninformed choice. In Firefox, a simple press of Control-Plus will
