Hi, I am having trouble getting a joystick to work with my laptop
computer. The computer is a HP Omnibook 5500 with the Omnibook Port
replicator. The computer is running Win98. I went to the joysticks
website and followed the instructions. It told me to select
Microsoft, GamePort, 2 axis-2 button. I am able to load the drivers
fine and when I restart everything seems fine except when I go to
calibrate the joystick, Windows does not see it.

Thinking it could be the docking station I deleted the joystick in
Device manager and restarted the computer, wheras windows finds it
when I do "Find New Hardware", but once again I cannot find or
calibrate it in Control Panel. Any ideas? I think the joystick is a
Quickshot qs-203.
