"Unable to initialize DAO-Jet engine"?

I get this error msg w/pgm that seems to be running Acess 97. I've
looked on net for answer, but can't seem to find fix that works.
Anyone know how to fix this? Thx.

fitwell, <NoSpam@NoJunkMail.com>, the cringing, underdeveloped nob, and
monastery door keeper, frothed:

And you expect the fucktards in 24hourfuckup.fuckwitshack to be able to help
you, do you, snotfuck?

Since you have posted the same question twice in two days, and since you
clearly do not have the fucking brains to even state what application is
causing the problem, the risk is entirely your own:

You need to install a version of MDAC that also includes the correct version
of DAO needed to access your database.

http://search.microsoft.com/search/r...w=en-au&qu=MDA
C+download

The correct version of MDAC would not be versions 2.6 or 2.8 since neither
of those include DAO. The correct version would be MDAC 2.1 or MDAC 2.5.

Understand, snotfuck? Hmmm?

Oh, and you didn't even acknowledge the information given to you by dadiOH,
him being a fuckwit aside, that was extremely reckless of you. I don't
expect any acknowledgement or thanks from you either. Indeed I do not want
any. I merely hope that you fuck your system up beyond all repair, yuou
useless, thankless cunt.

That's why I included the "you're welcome" - to save her the difficulty

Ah, you acknowledge my wit.

That is the normal condition. I learned loooooong ago that whatever

SECOND REPLY: Sorry -- I'd *just* gone from a Linux group to this one,
and was still mentally in Linux mode when I posted the question in my
first response, wondering if you were running Wine, or Crossover Office,
or what.
