- Uninstall IE
- Posted by Larry Allen on April 20th, 2004
My Internet Exporler has been hyjacked and I have been following
instructions provided from an earlier post. After running a number of
programs to remove the hyjack program it still has control of IE.
I hoped that by uninstalling IE and reinstalling it might come back in it's
original state. The problem I have now is that IE does not appear in the
"Add/Remove" programs list and I am unable to remove the program manually.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstalling IE will not necessarily remove any hijackers.
Install HijackThis and post the FULL contents of
your log here.
