Did you check USB.ORG?
I don't know if you'll find generic drivers there, but you might find
the manufacturer.

The problem is that the PNY site is rubbish. it doesnt seem to have my
model on there. and all thats on the usb is "flashDrive 512mb hi-speed
certified usb". so there is not atl ot to go on.

Any other ideas?

Does it look like one of these?

or these?

If so, the Win98 drivers are right there.

Personally, I found their website quite navigable and helpful. Perhaps you
need surfing lessons?

My main problem is that my flash drive looks nothing like the pictures. I
dont have a problem with the site itself, my problem is that the site doesnt
have to much info about old products.

Have you tried the drivers for the current product?

As you've guessed by now, there probably isn't a "generic" driver for these
things. I've found nothing on the web to indicate PNY makes anything except
the Attache line, or an OEM variety. Here's a few others built by PNY:

I'd replace "probably" with "isn't". Heck, there still isn't a generic
dos usb driver for HDDs and CD drives.

Yeah - but I've learned "never say never" and "isn't" fits into that same
category
