- What media compatible with Vista?
- Posted by John Ritchie on May 1st, 2007
I bought a new computer that uses Vista. I need a printer and scanner. I
can't find any that say they work with Vista. The boxes say they work
with Windows 2000 or XP or whatever. Does a printer, etc. have to say
it's compatible with Vista on the box before I buy it or will an earlier
OS version work? If so, which ones? Thanks for any advice?

I guess it will work without that label, devices and software for pre-XP
(98,95) work on XP, as I have an old scanner and lots of old games that run
fine on it. It should work with Vista. They probably haven't updated their
labels yet.
