I recently bought Windows 2000 Professional Retail Box off E-Bay. The box
says that it is an operating system for business. Did I buy the wrong
version of Windows 2000 for my home computer? If so, what should I buy for
my pc?

There is the Pro workstation version of Win 2K and there are server
versions of Win 2K. If you have Win 2k Pro workstation, you're good to go
as it used in the home and business environments.
