HI
I have windows ME on a desktop pc.
this morning when I wanted to start it. I got the the page with 4 option
1-normal 2-boot log 3-safemode 4-step by tep.
I have tried all the 4 option but it restarts and I get the same screnn
with 4 option.

With the the stet by step option it goes untill chipio file and restarts
again.
any idea???

any way I have sort it out.

Booted the win me with a start up disk and typed
scanreg /fix on a prompt and then restarted it.
It fixed.(Instructed by oops! microsoft.publicwindowsme.general
newsgroup)
