- Winword font issue

It seems that whenever I set WINWORD to the default font (Times New
Roman) and Times is specifically selected, it switches to a font much
like "Palatino Linotype". This only just started today..it doesn't
affect other fonts, just Times New Roman. It's really strange - any
ideas as to why it happened, and how to fix it?

amazing what a restart does. still have no idea what caused it but its
fixed.
