- wups2.dll Willnot Defrag.

Hello,
I did about 5 Defrags. to try to defrag wups2.dll but itwillnot
defrag. It remains as a red line, not blue as it should.
Does anyone know what this is all aobut?

Well it is all a total lie.
With the proper care, any file can be moved anywhere on the hard
drive - and that includes boot sections, partition tables, etc; *NO*
exceptions.
Now some of what i mentioned, if moved will require changes to the BIOS.
There is absolutely no reason that instead of starting on cylinder
zero, sector one, that the partition and boot info cannot be in the
physical *middle* of the hard drive; that layout would speed file access
by a factor of two or more (it has been done).
