Try getting the lastest windows updates from the microsoft web site. Make
sure its upgrsde to SP1.

My bro in law just installed DSL on an XP home system. It worked OK for a
while ,now it freezes on shutdown and even the power button doesn't work. He
has to unplug the thing. Any ideas?
