"using yahoo mail"
Does that mean when using their webmail interface to their Yahoo Mail
site? Does it mean when using a local e-mail client (which you didn't
bother to identify) to connect to your mailbox in your Yahoo Mail
account?
So why do you think that other e-mail addresses are being included in
the To, Cc, or Bcc fields when composing a new e-mail that forwards
another e-mail? Are you saying that somehow that something magically
enters in more recipient e-mail addresses than you specify? When
forwarding an e-mail, YOU are the one specifying who are the
recipients of that *new* e-mail (containing another e-mail).
If you forward inline, the original e-mail gets edited. Why? Because
all the headers are stripped and the *contents* of the body of the
original e-mail are inserted in the body of your *new* e-mail. That
also means that the recipient of your claimed forwarded copy of the
original has to trust that you didn't edit the original (but then
inline forwarding ALWAYS edits the original e-mail). If you forward
as attachment, you include the original e-mail intact and that
includes the headers. That means to whomever the e-mail was addressed
for the original e-mail will be in the headers of the attached
original e-mail. If you forward inline, your recipient has to believe
that you did not edit the original e-mail (beyond stripping out the
headers from the original e-mail). If you forward as attachment, the
recipient is pretty sure that they got the original e-mail as you got
it but then, just like you, they get to see everything in the headers
of that original e-mail.
