Background
I've recently read on another forum about an accessibility issue related
to multikey keyboard shortcuts which one person finds a bit of a
nuisance in the application the person uses. At the same time the
person preferred doable keyboard shortcut combinations.
The example given is keyboard combo CTRL+ALT+(3rd key option) [try doing
it one-handed with maybe some fingers having limited movement].
Suggestion
Is it possible to assign a time lag to CTRL and ALT and possibly SHIFT
keys with an onscreen echo that the timer has been activated?
It could allow users a 3-key combo that can be completed one step at a
time rather than simultaneously.
It maybe helpful for an operating system to allow users to invoke a
timed period on declared keys.
For all I know such an option may be present already but I thought I'd
pop it here as a suggestion just in case it turns out to be helpful.

Go to Start > (Settings >) Control Panel > Accessibility Options. Under
StickyKeys in the Keyboard tab, check "Use StickyKeys" and click on OK.
You can now press Ctrl, Alt, or Shift one at a time and it'll register as a
key combination.
This has actually been around for quite some time. Perhaps even in the
Windows 95 era.
