I have put a few webpages (mainly weather related like a rain radar and
a wind meter) onto my desktop and activated XPs active desktop. I
defined these items to "be available offline" and defined schedules
(when idle and timer-based schedules) such that they should be
synchronized every 15 minutes. But for some reason that synchronization
business doesn't work reliable! The items seem to be refreshed more on
some strange random schedule. Sometimes they are properly refreshed for
a while, sometimes they are not refreshed for hours and I have to
trigger a synchronization via IE or by starting mobsync.exe.

Any idea what could cause this and what one can do to have desktop items
properly and regularly updated? Aparently it is the "mobsync"
application that's supposed to do this...
