One some of my computers, when I click on a media file on the internet (like
a .wmv) windows media player will automatically open and play the file, yet
on other computers it doesn't.
All the computers have Windows XP, home or pro.
There much be some setting on the computer that does not open media player
to play the file. My associations are correct, as far as I can tell. The
extension WMV is associated with media player.
Any suggestions on where I might check, would be greatly appreciated. Any
security settings that might cause this behavior, or other settings.
