- Deleting directories containing junctions ?
- Posted by Michael Moser on April 3rd, 2008
Is there some flag or something to prevent XP from deleting the
*content* of directories that are linked to by means of a junction? I
just had to learn the hard way, that when I delete a directory that
contains a junction to some other directory then XP will not just delete
the junction but actually the entire content of the target directory,
too.
This is of course NOT what I had intended, when I had placed that
junction for easier navigation... :-(
