- FavOrg - poss to bring in old icons to new computer?
- Posted by Maureen Goldman on March 10th, 2006
I've been trying to figure out how I can bring my old favorite icons
to a new computer. I imported my bookmarks from IE, but the FavOrg
program doesn't seem to have an import function.
I've tried bringing in the old folder of icons. However, the program
only seems to look on-line to bring in icons from websites and leaves
most entries with place-holder icons. I'm hoping not to have to select
icons one at a time via the Favorites list.

FavOrg is a program from "PC Magazine" - you're asking in the wrong place.

No, but just install Favorg on the other PC and run it. I found a better
utility called AM-Deadlink.

When I ran FavOrg, it only looked at websites, not the icons that I
had brought in.

Favorg is only to organise your Favorites icons it has nothing to do with
any other store.

These icons weren't from websites. FavOrg is harvesting just fine, but
it won't reassociate the non-website icons.

Look at Favorg help, I don't know what the problem is.
