- Folder setup?
- Posted by beamish on March 10th, 2006
Hello, How can I set all my folders to open the same way "Explore" opens ?
They will open as "List" but I have to click on the "Folder" button on each
folder to set up the folder as "Explore" is set up.
Have used Kelly's vb script, and the extra 8000, tried to setup each folder
in "View".
The "list" setting holds but not the "folder"checked.
thank you.
take care.

control panel > folder options > file types, select "Folder" then click
"Advanced", click "explore", click "Set Default"

I think the answer you are looking for is the following..
open a folder and configure it the way you want all folders to look.
go to tools... options... view... then click apply to all folders. that will
do it.
