Open Explorer in Kiosk Mode

Start | Run | Type: iexplore -k c:\ | Click OK

Ctrl + W to close.

It works fine for me. But it was a bit disconcerting not to see any menus,

That's why I put that in there. ;-)

I *know* about Ctrl + W and it's still confusing. Alt + F4 works also.

Both Ctrl + W and Alt + F4 will close the active item or quit the active
program, unless an active program uses those shortcuts for something else.

OE uses CTRL+W for Go to a newsgroup, so Alt + F4 will close OE, but CTRL+W
when OE is active will open Newsgroup Subscriptions.
