- How do I get normal dropdowns in XP?
- Posted by Peter on March 14th, 2006
I get really annoyed with the XP dropdown menus. They don't display all the
available menu choices right away. I need to click on a "fold-out-button" to
see all choices or hover for awhile.
I've removed this "feature" in my XP (Pro) before but can't remember how I
did it and I have a new computer again...
Can anybody help me by telling me how I get the dropdown menus to always
show all choices?
Thanks

Have a look at:-

scroll to:
Use Personalized Menus
Seems to be available on the Classic Mode.
then switch back to Windows XP mode if you prefer.

In addition to what others have posted, some programs have these options as
well. Examples: MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc); Internet Explorer.
To change these, use the menu settings within the individual programs.
